The IRC in Salt Lake City is currently running a series, “Refugee Resettlement”, describing our efforts to resettle and serve refugees and their families who now call the Beehive State “home.” Part three, the final in the series, focuses on the programs and services offered to support refugees’ and New Americans’ efforts to positively integrate beyond resettlement.

On Valentine’s Day, the IRC in Atlanta’s staff, clients and volunteers joined nearly 300 fellow advocates at the Georgia State Capitol for the tenth annual New Americans Celebration (NAC).

On February 4, the IRC in Tallahassee’s staff, refugee clients and volunteers joined fellow advocates from the Florida Immigrant Coalition and We Are All America at the Florida State Capitol for the state’s first ever Refugee Advocacy Day.

The IRC in Denver completes another fantastic summer program making significant strides in reaching more families and adopting a multi-generational approach.

Each year the IRC in San Diego provides scholarships to support refugee youth heading to two- or four-year college. Help us reach our goal of providing at least 15 scholarships this year!

Youth Mentoring Program members work to help restore historic African American Evergreen Cemetery.

The IRC’s POWERPLUS program, which is led by the IRC in NY’s Economic Empowerment program, prepares female-identifying participants to overcome barriers to upward economic mobility by offering intensive one-on-one technical assistance.   Participants receive support in the necessary training, licenses, credentials, and certificates in three tracks: childcare, case management, and individualized coaching.
