Nine-year-old Maher discovered his love for photography after the International Rescue Committee gave him a camera to photograph his friends. He has been living in a makeshift camp in Lebanon with his family for three years after fleeing their home in Raqqa. Maher began to take photos of his friends who live near the small town of Ghazze, in Lebanon’s Bekka Valley. He dreams of becoming a doctor.
