The 2024 States Lay the Foundation Summit explored the stories that bring us together to introduce, advocate for, enact, and implement legislation to support refugees and new Americans as they rebuild their lives in the United States. Bipartisan legislators shared how they have and continue to advance measures in their states to welcome refugees, build and protect resettlement infrastructure, and invest in the services that contribute to the integration of newly arrived refugees in their states and communities.
