The war in Ukraine has taken a staggering toll on the country's health care system. Attacks on hospitals (as well as on civilian homes and schools) have been a hallmark of the conflict, with health care facilities alone tallying nearly 1000 strikes since 24 February 2022. Dr. Oleg and his team are working tirelessly to deliver much needed support in Mariupol, a city in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
