Local Girl Scout troops donated cookies to refugees resettling in Wichita.

On Thursday, June 20th, 2024, the IRC in Silver Spring celebrated its first annual Beacons of Hope Gala in celebration of World Refugee Day. With over 200 guests in attendance, the event brought together refugees and the individuals and organizations who support immigrants who serve as beacons of hope in Maryland.

The Bridge Builder Award recognizes the work IRC does to support and strengthen newly arriving refugee families while also involving community members in this crucial work.

The IRC in Denver's Youth Team staff, interns and volunteers facilitates fields trips for clients to Colorado parks all over the front range. The program was funded and supported by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW), with the goal to enable immigrant and refugee families and their children to explore the beautiful outdoors of our Colorado mountains.

In the first installation of Youth Voices, a Dallas high school student, resettled by the IRC in 2013, pens an essay on the importance of African and African American historical representation in school.
