The IRC works to ensure that people can receive care and manage treatment for themselves and their families, from the earliest stages of a mental health crisis through recovery.

The IRC provides support to Syrian refugees struggling to get by in Lebanon and the resource-strapped Lebanese communities hosting them. We also responded to the 2020 explosion in Beirut, providing support including emergency cash and psychological first aid.

The IRC is scaling up aid in Sudan where extreme weather events, locust infestations, rising food costs, and other factors are driving increased humanitarian need.
