Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC stands as one of the oldest humanitarian aid organizations in operation. We respond to some of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises, including in Ukraine, Sudan and the occupied Palestinian territory.

In 2023 alone, we served 34.5 million clients in countries impacted by crises. Our comprehensive programming includes:

1.6 million children and youth enrolled in learning programs
$79 million of cash and vouchers distributed directly to our clients
