Responsibilities
- Pick up clients from the airport and drive them to their new homes
- Transport clients to and from IRC cultural orientations
- Transport clients to and from pertinent appointments
- Deliver supplies to client homes
- More as assigned
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation with ability to transport passengers
- Vehicle must have up to date insurance and be in safe operating condition
- Must be patient and comfortable working with refugees and immigrants from diverse backgrounds, many of whom have limited English proficiency
- Must have in-person availability on at least one day between Monday – Friday
- Background check including driver history required
- Must track and log hours volunteered monthly via our online volunteer dashboard.
