The New Roots team is looking for volunteers to help operate the New Roots Farm Stand at Sunnyvale Farmers Market on Saturdays. Volunteers will support refugee farmers as they sell specialty ethnic crops in one of the largest food deserts in Salt Lake County. At the market, volunteers can help with distibution of free meals for youth, processing payments and handing our desired produce. This is a great opportunity to engage in the local food movement on a very personal level.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Commitment for the full 3 hours of the volunteer shift (11-2)
- Willing to work patiently with limited English speakers
- 14 years of age and up
