LOCATION: Remote
TIME COMMITMENT: 2 hours minimum
Responsibilities:
- Volunteers will assist the legal team who work with clients in seeking legal immigration status, ensuring clients are enrolled in school, connecting them to food pantries and resources, and working with the child's parents so the client settles well in the Dallas community.
- Assist with homework and ESL tutoring with clients (remotely)
- Record hours and submit a completed timesheet at the end of each month via the IRC’s online Volunteer Dashboard
Requirements:
- Commit at least 3 months of service
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Reliability, attention to detail
- Work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19
- Willing to adhere to IRC Volunteer and workplace policies, including confidentiality policies

If proof of vaccine cannot be provided, volunteers may still apply for virtual-only roles.
