Description

RSS provides effective resettlement of refugees and assist refugees to achieve economic Self-Sufficiency as quickly as possible. Available services include, but are not limited to: Case Management, English as a second language, relocation adjustment, job development and placement, coordination, consultation, transportation workshops, nursing services, dental assistance, medical assistance, unaccompanied minors service, work adjustment training, job training and community education information. The intention of all services provided is to assist clients in pursuing employment goals, and rendering necessary Case Management, social adjustment, and housing support by securing employment. Volunteers will be trained by a staff person and assist with the various tasks supporting the refugee client, both administratively and direct service. 

 

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Pass and IRC background check
  • Availability M-F 9-5 PM
  • Cultural awareness working with clients
  • Comfortable working with translators both over the phone and in person
