RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ​Assist employable clients in securing their first job in the U.S: Resume creation, job application and interview assistance, accompanying clients to interviews, employer/employee follow up, and documentation of self-sufficiency
  • Mapping out client locations and location/job matching
  • Help assess supportive needs for each individual client. This includes the need for childcare assistance, special transportation consideration, donation needs and troubleshoot barrier removal
  • Provide public transportation training, as needed
  • Provide gender equitable services to promote gender parity in services and economic potential amongst all clients
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • 3-4 hours of availability, Mon-Fri 9-5 PM
  • Cultural competency & consideration
  • Excellent written & verbal skills
  • Human resources or workforce development experience is encouraged, though not required
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with outreach activities
  • Strong interest in refugee and asylee issues as well as in workforce development
