Disclaimer*** We kindly request volunteers to commit at least 3 months of service for regularly scheduled support, otherwise choosing an appointment specific volunteer opportunity would be more appropriate.
LOCATION: In-office or remote
TIME COMMITMENT: 2 hours minimum
Responsibilities:
- Proper knowledge of technology such as Google Docs, Chrome, Sheets, Slides, Zoom, etc.
- Volunteers with have access to lesson plans and curriculum for Digital Inclusion
- Volunteer will be assigned a client with appropriate lesson plans to review with their clients in a meeting
- Record hours and submit a completed timesheet at the end of each month via the IRC’s online Volunteer Dashboard
Requirements:
- Commit at least 3 months of service
- Reliability, attention to detail
- Volunteers must speak client's primary language. These include: Arabic, Dari/Farsi, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya, Karen, Spanish, or Kinyarwanda.
- Work well under pressure
- Flexible and adaptive to change
- Excellent communication skills
- Provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19
- Willing to adhere to IRC Volunteer and workplace policies, including confidentiality policies

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: In accordance with IRC’s duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards and our commitment to safeguard the health of our employees, clients, and communities, IRC requires all volunteers who are interested in providing in-person support for our work to furnish proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to be onboarded for the position. If proof of vaccine cannot be provided, volunteers may still apply for virtual-only roles.
