Assist with development and implementation of public outreach and awareness campaigns. by coordinating outreach in the local community and other big country counties. Also help with research and data collection.
Location: IRC in Abilene office
Time Commitment: At least 3 months with a minimum of 2 - 4 hours a week.
Duties:
- Assist with development and implementation of public outreach and awareness campaigns.
- Assist with development of creative media content and public awareness materials.
- Assist with advertisement of events.
- Assist in identifying new opportunities to generate awareness and outreach.
- Assist with development of community surveys and questionnaires.
- Assist with desk research and other administrated tacks as needed.

- To protect our clients, we require background checks for all our volunteers, and we ask volunteers to make a $45 donation to cover associated costs. Currently, 92% of our funding goes directly to our clients, and your help to cover this cost allows us to continue providing the best service possible. These donations can be made at the IRC in Abilene office during normal business hours.
