In northeastern Nigeria, 14.9 million people's lives have been shattered by the war on Boko Haram. More than 60% of those in need are children like Aisha, who saw the terrorists kill her uncle. When 11-year-old Aisha fled her home, she also had to leave school behind. Now, with the International Rescue Committee's support, she's back in the classroom and getting help to cope with the trauma she experienced so that she can focus on learning and growing up to build a brighter future. Aisha says she wants to be a teacher someday so that she can help other children.
