The IRC in Denver and Highlands United Methodist Church Embrace a Second Co-Sponsored Refugee Family

Not only do many Afghan girls grow up in remote villages without schools, all girls over the age of twelve are now barred from formal education.

The IRC in Wichita partnered with two local organizations, ICT SOS and The Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center (WASAC) to train local refugee women about staying safe in America.

Over the past decade, the IRC has partnered with Desert Financial Credit Union to increase financial literacy and financial independence for these new Americans.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City’s internship program is built to provide real-life experiences to local students as they learn and grow professionally. Partner organizations work to ensure that students working with the IRC in Salt Lake City are able to access hands-on experiences, often combined with coursework.
