You can support your community by renting your property to to newcomers resettling in the U.S. Gain access to qualified potential tenants reducing vacancies with IRC clients receiving initial financial support and case management for their self-sufficiency.

Through a partnership with TripAdvisor, the IRC in NY has been celebrating clients' successes and achievements with opportunities to explore New York's many notable landmarks and experiences. This past month, Career Development Program participants visited Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty in recognition of IRC clients' hard work to realize their career goals.

The IRC in Wichita partnered with two local organizations, ICT SOS and The Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center (WASAC) to train local refugee women about staying safe in America.

The IRC in Phoenix began a partnership with the McCain Institute of International Leadership at Arizona State University in 2015. Through this partnership, the IRC hosted Branislav Nesovic, a Next Generation Leadership Fellow. Over one year, Branislav helped formulate a strategy to optimize partnerships with community partners, enabling the IRC to more effectively utilize local resources in Phoenix.

The IRC in Tucson began receiving displaced Afghan families in September of 2021. All are in urgent need of safety and security. The number of families has increased due to the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. The IRC calls on the Tucson and Pima County community to come together with open arms in welcome for these families, many who risked their lives providing critical and longstanding assistance to the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.
