Razia Sultana is an independent activist, lawyer and feminist bringing change to the world's biggest refugee camp. In Bangladesh, close to one million Rohingya people have fled persecution in Myanmar. Living in an overcrowded camp, women continue to face violence—Razia is fighting to change that. Twenty-one-year-old Yasmin Ara is a Rohingya refugee from Myanmar living in Cox’s Bazar, in Bangladesh, the world’s largest refugee camp. As a community volunteer for the International Rescue Committee, she goes door-to-door to raise awareness about protection from the coronavirus. “Rohingya people help others as much as possible,” she says. Daily life as a refugee in Bangladesh is a struggle, but that doesn't stop Fatima from volunteering at an IRC-supported health center in a camp that's home to 700,000 Rohingya who fled persecution and violence in Myanmar a year ago.
