In Yemen, which has entered its eighth year of war, the International Rescue Committee delivers lifesaving health care through mobile health clinics. A health system broken by war leaves Syrians desperate for care. IRC mobile health teams are providing lifesaving care and medication twice a month to remote villages and tent cities across Syria.

Three clowns from the Sweden-based nonprofit organization Clowns Without Borders recently performed for families in northern Jordan, where the IRC operates mobile health clinics and provides other support for Syrian refugees and Jordanians in need.

An International Rescue Committee aid worker (his identity obscured for security reasons) takes us inside Areesha displacement camp, northeast Syria. Here 43,000 people who fled ISIS are crowded into a camp built for less than half that number.  Some 25,000 people are living on one piece of bread a day. Others have nothing to eat. The IRC is responding with emergency meals, which we have distributed to 5,000 families.
