The IRC in Atlanta’s Microenterprise Development (MED) program is proud to support refugee and immigrant business owners from around the world—to honor the culture, passion and ideas these innovators bring to the Atlanta community, we spent the week of November 13 – 19 celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week.

In collaboration with the Salt Lake City government, we have created a video that showcases the variety of languages spoken in Utah, sharing advice from their mothers. This annual observance by worldwide organizations such as the UN and UNESCO fosters understanding and inclusivity within communities.

In May 2023, Victoria Barrier Solutions LLC—a residential and commercial fencing and railing business—was born. “We create fencing and railing from all kinds of materials including wood, vinyl, and aluminum. We also build decks for homes.”
