With the generous support of Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services, the IRC in Silver Spring provides resettlement services to facilitate the full civic integration of refugees entering the United States who reside in Montgomery County.

The IRC in Charlottesville hosted Refuge and Renewal: Stories of Hope, a fundraiser and storytelling event in collaboration with WTJU radio. Former refugee clients shared personal narratives through panel discussions focused on lived experience and the power of storytelling. With over 100 attendees and a significant amount of money raised, the event celebrated resilience, fostered community connection, and supported ongoing services for IRC clients.

The IRC in Florida’s staff is in conversations with Congressional leaders to discuss the IRC’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Presidential Determination for the admission of refugees in the United States.
