On October 11th, Spice Kitchen Incubator hosted the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, showcasing the culinary acumen of participating entrepreneurs and sharing best practices to meet their hometown needs.

Jadim's journey from her homeland in Burma to Salt Lake City has been one filled with resilience, determination, and a passion for sharing her culture through food. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, her story teaches strength and entrepreneurial spirit of refugee women around the world.

Nestled along 900 South, the Spice on 9th Café serves as community space, welcoming refugee and new American entrepreneurs to engage with the IRC in Utah’s Spice Kitchen Incubator program. In December, Spice on 9th welcomed its first Chef in Residence: Najati Abdalla of Namash Swahili Cuisine.

The IRC in Atlanta is thrilled to announce that three of our very own—Naika Dieujuste, Mu Ni, and Sultan Minhas—have been named as part of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Atlanta ‘30 under 30’ Class of 2023!
