Education has the power to protect children and help them heal during a crisis, say IRC overseer Caroline Kennedy and senior education director Sarah Smith. But roughly half of Venezuelan refugee children in Colombia are not in school.

This assessment aims to identify concrete actions the IRC can take to better respond to the needs of Syrian and Jordanian adolescent girls.

On July 17th, the IRC in NY’s Economic Empowerment department in collaboration with Sakhi and Tent Partnership for Refugees hosted a job fair for clients. This fair was designed to invite clients to learn about different sectors and possibilities as they think about entering the workforce.
