As a part of that commitment, we provide them with necessities they will need to start rebuilding their lives here. To do this, the IRC relies on donated items from community partners that are passed into the hands of our beneficiaries free of charge either through our Resettlement Store or as part of an initial apartment setup.

We have a number of new arrivals scheduled to resettle in Wichita in August and are in dire need of the household items.

Makia Adam arrived in the U.S. in 2015 and began working with IRC in Silver Spring in the summer of 2018 when she became a freshman in high school.
