After an airstrike hit Zuhair's shop in Syria, he fractured his spine and was evacuated to Lebanon for treatment. There, he met a phone shop owner through the International Rescue Committee's apprenticeship program. With the help of his new friend and the IRC, Zuhair is rebuilding his life.

Syrian refugee girls living in Jordan have experienced the trauma of their country’s civil war, the loss of loved ones and their homes, the struggle to survive in a new country.
