IRC’s employment team increases self-sufficiency for refugees in Utah
When refugees arrive in Utah, one of our top priorities at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City is to support individuals on their job search, so that they can start living independently. The IRC’s employment services team works to support adults enrolled in the early employment program to prepare for and secure their first job in the U.S. within the first three to six months post-arrival.

How the Emergency Rescue Committee became the International Rescue Committee and where we are today
Netflix’s Transatlantic tells the story of how Varian Fry and the Emergency Rescue Committee helped thousands of refugees flee France during World War II. Read how the organization became the International Rescue Committee and how we’ve continued to support people facing conflict and crisis for the past 90 years. Through the years 1933 Varian Fry at his office in Marseilles in the spring of 1941.

Goddard Eisenhower High School students host in-kind donation drive for the IRC
In September Students from Goddard Eisenhower High School began collecting hygiene supplies and household cleaning supplies for the IRC and will continue collecting these supplies throughout their school year.
