We are thrilled to release the New Roots 2023 Impact Report.  This report provides key statistics, examples, and stories of how New Roots is improving the lives of New Americans – and their neighbors – through food and agriculture. 

In 2023, New Roots programs:

  • Helped 826 individuals grow healthy food for their families
  • Empowered young people to become food justice champions in their own communities
  • Helped immigrant and refugee farmers grow nearly $4 million in produce, and sell through 31 different markets across the US
  • Held 178 community events which nurtured community wellness, helping participants feel more socially connected and less isolated
