You may have noticed lately that you're seeing fewer updates from some of the people and organizations—such as the International Rescue Committee—you follow on Facebook. That's because Facebook has been making changes to the algorithm (a set of computer-based rules) that controls what users see in their news feeds.
Here are three quick and easy steps you can take to make sure you don't miss updates you care about from the IRC.
1. Go to the IRC's Facebook page (and/or your local U.S. IRC office's Facebook page)
2. Make sure you have already "Liked" the page.
3. Click the “Following” button and choose “See First” from the drop-down menu.
Here's what this step looks like on both desktop computers and mobile phones:

Like, comment and share
Whenever you see an IRC post that inspires you, please "Like" it, leave a comment, share it with your friends—or all of the above!
This helps more than you might think to get the word out about the IRC and the cause of refugees: The more likes, comments and shares a post has, the more likely it will show up in Facebook news feeds.
Many thanks as always for your continued support.
