JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Supporter Care Officer
Reports to: Retention Marketing Manager, IRC Korea
Location: Seoul, Republic of Korea
Hours: Full time, 40h per week
STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the Supporter Care officer you will be based in Seoul office. You will report directly to the Retention Marketing Manager for IRC Korea.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding administration work for Supporter data and supporter care through informative and positive communication.
The post holder will work in close collaboration with ER colleagues to provide support to the wider IRC Korea team where and when required.
SCOPE AND AUTHORITY
Authority: The post holder will have ownership of supporter data operation and be accountable for their accuracy, speed, and security.
Responsibility for Resources: This position has no line management responsibility.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) Call centre operations support
It is responsible for ensuring smooth communication between the call centre and the IRC, assisting the call centre to respond quickly to various supporter needs, not just simple enquiries, and creating the necessary work processes to create effective communication methods.
2) Supporter journey development and implementation
Create and implement new plans to retain and develop IRC supporters.
3) Supporter content planning and writing
Plan and execute content for various communication channels such as emails and SNS to supporters. We're looking for someone who can work well with the IRC's activities and the writer's skills to create engaging content.
4) Manage Supporer communication channels
Manage communication channels (email, phone, etc.) to interact with supporters.
5) Data management and analysis
Analyse data related to backers, identify the current situation and derive strategies.
OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide general administrative support where and when required.
• Acquire knowledge of past and existing Fundraising and Communications & Media activity as well as country programs to effectively engage with supporters across all channels.
• To comply with the culture and policies governing IRC in Korea and within External Relations.
• To represent IRC in Korea in a manner that ensures appropriate communication with our supporters and stakeholders.
• To develop and maintain a positive working relationship with other departments and teams in Korea and within IRC globally.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
• A hands-on attitude
• Experience of working in data administration or operation.
• Excellent handling and utilizing data quickly and accurately.
• Excellent analytical ability using Excel program.
• Experience of working in a supporter/customer care team and dealing with inquiries
• Experience in working in a fundraising environment preferable
• Professional telephone manner with a friendly, empathetic and calm manner and the ability to connect and engage with supporters
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive, collaborative, productive relationships with external suppliers and internal staff at all levels
• Flexibility to respond quickly to changes in short-term work priorities

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporter care related functions.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Finance & Operation Manager
Reports to: Executive Director, IRC Korea
Location: Seoul, Republic of Korea
Hours: Full time, 40h per week
STRUCTURE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In the role of (Sr.) Finance & Operation Manager, you will be the strategic leader responsible for driving financial results and transparency, supervising various finance functional areas, serving as the primary liaison for functional staff supporting the Korea office, including the Global Supply Chain Director (GSCD) which is expected to contribute to setting the strategic direction and operational problem-solving through the areas of professional expertise.
You will report to the Executive Director of South Korea in partnership with the Finance Director in Europe and Global finance in US.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working within a Finance matrix structure, you will be responsible for and oversee:
1. Controllership: Ensure compliance of donor funds in Korea with local and relevant international regulations, including tax, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
2. Supply Chain: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Supply Chain, leading bidding process and coordinating with the regional supply chain unit all procedures and steps regarding procurement in accordance with supply chain and financial compliance guidelines and coordinate servicing and repairs as needed.
3. Treasury & Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including currency exchange. Provide insights into the financial health of IRC Korea.
4. Financial Planning & Analysis: Collaborate with the Global FP&A team to prepare IRC Korea’s financial planning and annual budgeting in working with the Management team to support IRC Korea’s growth.
5. Functional Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture of learning and best practices to ensure the function’s goals are met.
Within the above areas we expect you undertake the following:
• Plan and assist with deploying the best fit finance system for IRC Korea, ensuring that local statutory requirements can be met at all times and in contemplation of completion of annual statutory financial statements and other financial regulatory reporting as required
· Maintain an appropriate financial control environment, ensuring financial records are maintained and that monthly financial routines are completed
· Document and implement efficient procure-to-pay processes, in line with global processes as appropriate and relevant
· Ensure accurate data interface between finance and fundraising system (Donus), maintaining monthly financial reconciliations
· Overview IRC Korea's chart of accounts, ensuring congruence with IRC Inc.’s chart of accounts ensuring regular liaison with IRC HQ in New York
· Working with the treasury team, identify and recommend appropriate banking service providers and lead setting up banking relationships, if needed.
· Ensure appropriate financial planning, budgeting and monitoring for IRC Korea and in line with IRC requirements
· Ensure internal financial reporting is carried out to time and quality
· Responsibilities for dealing with the external accounting firm
· Leading the audit process

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
Essentials;
- Multi-year background from qualified financial work (Min. 10 year of exp. in Finance with more than 3 year of managerial roles)
: academic education in economics, business administration and accounting
- Experiences in Procurement OR Operation management
- Fluent Knowledge of English and Korean
Preferrable:
- Experience working in NGOs or non-profit organizations
Skills/character
· Ability to be strategic and creative in developing and implementing new income-generating activities.
· Strong relationship-building, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
