The Charlottesville resettlement store recently reopened its doors, having been closed by COVID policies since 2020. The store provides newly arrived refugees with agency to “shop” for necessities for free. Refugees can choose hygiene and household items as well as other essential goods. If you are interested in donating to the resettlement store, the most needed items can be found on the Amazon Wishlist. In addition to items on the Wishlist, the store is accepting body wash, lotion, and paper towels.
