The Piecemakers from Trinity Lutheran Church in Garden City stopped by our office to donate twenty-three quilts for refugees in our community.

Each quilt is unique in its design, color, and size. The quilting group includes young and young-at-heart individuals who meet during the summer months to create quilts for the community. The group's motto is “Changing the world one piece at a time.”

The first quilt we handed out was to a 4-month-old baby whose mother fled Ethiopia in search of a more peaceful and secure home for her children.
