The International Rescue Committee in New York & New Jersey (IRC NYNJ) creates opportunities for immigrants, refugees, and asylees to recover and establish successful new lives. Through a network of holistic programs and services, the IRC NYNJ assists over 10,000 clients...

Your contribution plays a crucial role in supporting valuable initiatives that provide opportunities and empower newcomers to become self-sufficient and productive members of their new communities. Here are ways you can get involved and help:

Hire IRC Clients

Our clients are eligible to work in the US and ready to enter the workforce in their new communities. The IRC employment team is committed to supporting local employers by conducting thorough assessments and screenings of skilled candidates. This initiative ensures that qualified individuals are effectively matched with appropriate job opportunities, benefiting both the candidates and the organizations they join. Please contact [email protected] to help connect our clients to job opportunities.

House Families & Individuals
We are looking to connect with landlords to help us find affordable housing. Landlords can help their communities by renting their properties to IRC clients as they rebuild their lives in the US. If you or a contact is interested in renting to an IRC client, fill out this quick form, and a staff member near you will contact you and share more information on getting started. For more information on renting to IRC clients, visit our landlord outreach announcement.
