These events offer an opportunity for supporters to come together, enjoy local food and drinks and support humanitarian immigrants in their community.
Beginning in February and continuing throughout the Spring, restaurants and businesses across Maryland will be hosting fundraising days dedicated to the IRC in Maryland. Zoe’s Just Dezzerts in Baltimore was the first to kick off this initiative, donating 5% of its proceeds on February 7th and 8th. On February 25th, Franklin’s Restaurant in Hyattsville contributed 20% of their profits to benefit the IRC’s mission and operations.
Looking forward, on March 13th, El Golfo Salvadoran Restaurant will be joining the effort by donating 15% of all sales, and Denizens Brewery in Rockville will follow on April 14th, pledging 10% of its proceeds.
These fundraisers are essential to sustaining the IRC’s work, ensuring that humanitarian immigrants across Maryland have access to the support they need to rebuild their lives.
