2022 Welcome Home Fundraiser by the IRC in Denver

IRC in Denver invites you to join us for our Welcome Home fundraiser event on June 1, 2022 from 6 to 9pm! To learn more and purchase tickets, go here.

Join the IRC in Denver for our in-person Welcome Home fundraiser, benefiting IRC’s Psychosocial Support Services (PSS)! This event will highlight the IRC in Denver's We Can Do It! (WCDI) program, one of many programs offered under IRC's PSS department. WCDI seeks to address the specific vulnerabilities and challenges faced by refugee women in the community, utilizing different mediums to prevent social isolation, process traumatic experiences, and cultivate a holistic wellbeing. Through storytelling, art, movement therapy, music, horticulture, and more, this program helps women identify and activate their assets and strengths, further cultivate resiliency, and establish connections with one another.  

Participants of WCDI will be present at the event to share their experiences. Dinner will be catered by R Bazaar and drinks will be provided. There will also be live entertainment featuring Oromo Dance Colorado. You will have the opportunity to hear from IRC in Denver’s Executive Director Jennifer Wilson and Psychosocial Support Specialist Mireille Bakhos.

Tickets are $85 before April 30 and will increase to $100 on May 1, with ticket sales ending on May 30. You won’t want to miss this event!
