The IRC in New York and New Jersey offers hands-on volunteer and internship opportunities! Most internships begin during the months of January, May, and August, with occasional openings throughout the year.  Volunteer positions for the Refugee Youth Summer Academy (RYSA) are available in both New York and New Jersey.

Please note all internship positions are unpaid and require a minimum of 15 hours per week. Volunteers must meet the minimum age requirement of 18. For youth interested in getting involved under the age of 18, and scouts looking to inquire about possible projects, contact [email protected]
