Hetal Soni, originally from India, is the owner of Yogi Elixir ATL and one of over 2,300 entrepreneurs served by the International Rescue Committee’s Community Navigator Pilot Program (CNPP). The CNPP brought $800,000 of federal funding to Georgia via the IRC’s locally funded Atlanta office in late 2021 to assist diverse small business owners—with a focus on refugees and immigrants—in recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than a business, Yogi Elixir offers cold-pressed all organic juices, yoga classes and natural skin care products to revitalize the mind, body and soul.

Hetal immigrated to the United States with her husband in 2020 and began work on her business two short years later. “It was my dream, since I got married, I wanted to do something by my own,” Hetal shared. “I really want to be not just Atlanta but Georgia’s number one businesswoman.” More than a business, Yogi Elixir offers cold-pressed all organic juices, yoga classes and natural skin care products to revitalize the mind, body and soul. “I think of food as medicine,” Hetal shared. “What you feed your body will affect your mind and soul as well. I believe in Shiva, Shiva means ‘the universe.’ People who worship to the Shiva believe in doing yoga, and yoga is not just about doing stretching, Yoga is truly to know yourself.” The products and classes at Yogi Elixir represent the energy, time and dedication Hetal has invested in herself, her success, and the gifts she is proud to share with all of Atlanta.
When starting her business, Hetal was referred to the IRC in Atlanta’s CNPP. Once connected, Business Counselor, Sultan Minhas, supported Hetal to launch her business. “He helped me to file my LLC and within a month I got my LLC which has my name on it, and it was a proud moment for me at that time, like my dream becoming true.” Additionally, Sultan helped Hetal set up an Instagram account and guided her through all the steps and skills needed to help her business succeed, from accounting to applying for grants to building her credit. “I fully recommend it to you to get your business coaching here,” Hetal shared. “The guidance and knowledge you need for your business, you will probably be satisfied from here.”

With the next few months filled with pop-up market opportunities for Yogi Elixir—Hetal recently joined several other IRC Atlanta clients for our Small Business Pop Up at Refuge Coffee—she is well on her way to expanding her customer base. Having only started her business a few months ago, Hetal is proud of the progress she’s made. “I have my own identity, I have my own business, I introduce myself: ‘Hello everyone, I’m Hetal Soni, founder and owner of Yogi Elixir.’ Which is beyond something, it gives me soul satisfaction.”
