Contribute. The work of the IRC is only possible through the generosity of people like you. Your tax deductible gift helps the IRC respond immediately and effectively to the worst crises. Although we do receive support from the state and federal governments to assist new refugees, many services we provide -- such as helping refugees apply to bring close family members here -- are not supported with government funding. Your gift will go far to help refugees integrate and become self-sufficient in Los Angeles.

Provide goods.
We are always in need of new and unused (unopened) items such as:
- Bedding (Queen and Full size comforters, bed sheets, pillows/pillow cases)
- Kitchen Supplies (i.e. Silverware, utensils, appliances, etc)
- Hygiene Supplies (body wash, tooth brushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, deoderant, hair brushes, etc.)
- Bath towels
- Childrens Backpacks (elementary and high school, solid colors are best for older students)
Raise Funds

Hire
Employ a refugee. Refugees are resilient and are eager to find work and integrate into their new community. The IRC’s free employment services help to prepare refugees for Los Angeles’s job market and to secure employment. The IRC’s employment services help refugees and employers at every step of the way. This includes pre-screening and assessment, job readiness training, pre/post job placement support and administrative support. Housing
Secure Affordable Housing. Support local refugees by connecting our caseworkers with affordable housing or to landlords who are willing to rent to recently arrived refugees. Many of our clients find it difficult to find housing as they do not yet have credit or an established rental history.
