Private donations contribute greatly to the success of the IRC's work. Although we receive state and federal funding for initial resettlement and employment services, the assistance we provide to refugee families beyond their first few months in the U.S. would not be possible without community support.
Local donations give the IRC flexibility to respond to the needs of clients and provide services not funded by grants.
The IRC is consistently awarded top marks by charity watchdog groups for our efficient use of donor contribution and the effectiveness of our work. Every bit of support helps!
If you would like to donate to Oakland, click here. Please note that all donations go to the IRC in Northern California, which consists of Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, and Turlock/Modesto. We are not able to designate smaller donations to specific offices or programs, but your generosity allows us to ensure refugees, asylees, and trafficking victims across Northern California receive quality, efficient services. For questions about donations, please contact the Oakland IRC Volunteer and Donations Coordinator, Mallissa Watts at [email protected].
