More Information
The International Rescue Committee is a member of the Student Loan Empowerment Network (SLEN), a network of non-profits providing student loan counseling in partnership with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
The IRC is the lead partner of the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC), an initiative of the City of Sacramento. The FEC’s team of four financial coaches provide free, professional one-on-one support to Sacramento residents 18 and over on budgeting, building savings, reducing debt, establishing or improving credit, and accessing safe and affordable financial services. Individuals receiving student loan counseling can be referred to other FEC services and vice versa.
