Republican Utah State Representative Jordan Teuscher will join the IRC’s States Lay the Foundation summit on Tuesday, June 6 @ 10am MDT/12pm ET. Representative Teuscher will speak with bipartisan legislators from across the United States and discuss his recent bill to expand in-state tuition access to refugees, special immigrant visa recipients, individuals granted humanitarian parole, and other newcomers building their lives in Utah. This year’s virtual summit will feature IRC policy experts and keynote remarks from renowned actress and IRC Ambassador Piper Perabo.
The States Lay the Foundation legislative summit series serves as a national platform to celebrate and share a roadmap of state policy successes that ensure refugees and immigrants are welcomed and included into their new communities.
