Announcement
January was a banner month for employment at the IRC in San Diego - with 64 people finding new jobs that month alone. The placements varied as much as the unique backgrounds, skills and interests of the people we work with and represented many sectors:
- Hotel - 6 jobs
- Restaurant - 9 jobs including one promotion from cashier to server
- Farming - 21 jobs at a flower farm and a mushroom farm
- Retail - 2 jobs
- Healthcare - 1 job as a physician's assistant
- Finance - 1 job - admin. & data entry assistant at a financial services office
- Social services - 1 job as a caseworker assistant at a local nonprofit
