Domino’s has launched a new partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to help grow the IRC’s Housing Pilot Program, which will provide families with access to housing in Northern California.

Building upon the IRC’s expertise in resettlement housing, case management and financial capability services, the IRC’s new Housing Pilot Program is designed to address the housing affordability, availability, and accessibility challenges faced by many newcomers into the U.S. The program uniquely integrates culturally and linguistically inclusive housing counseling services with financial assistance solutions to ensure longer term housing stability for clients and set them on a path to economic wellbeing, safety, and empowerment.

Domino’s began humbly as a single store in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and is now the largest pizza company in the world. Its history of supporting those in search of the American dream, starting small and dreaming big, remains at the core of the brand and drives its purpose to feed the power of possible. Domino’s community giving programs support many nonprofit organizations that help people to reach self-sufficiency and unlock their full potential, which includes organizations striving to connect people with safe and sustainable housing.

The IRC has 29 offices across the United States that support newly arrived refugees by providing immediate aid, integration support and employment services. Around the country, the IRC welcomes and helps refugees as they arrive in their new communities by finding homes, connecting to employment and education, and providing essential items.

Domino’s has supported the IRC since 2021 through emergency contributions following crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Domino’s is the first employer for many immigrants across the country – many that worked their way through the Domino’s system and became franchise owners.
