“As a company deeply rooted in the Salt Lake City community, Bouncin’ Bins takes great pride in serving the area with top-quality inflatable party equipment like bounce houses and water slides for many years. Now, we are thrilled to extend our support to the New Roots Program through a donation of inflatable equipment. We understand the significance of bringing joy and fun to refugee families, who have experienced such challenging times. Moreover, we recognize the vital role of the farmer's market in the community and hope that the inflatables will attract more local residents to the market, where the hardworking refugee farmers sell their produce. By joining forces with the New Roots Program, Bouncin’ Bins is dedicated to making a positive impact by contributing to a more inclusive and vibrant community for all.”

Bouncin Bins Utah brings joy to refugee families through inflatable entertainment

This summer, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City had the pleasure of partnering with Bouncin Bins Utah to have inflatable games and equipment at our New Roots Sunnyvale Farmers’  Market for attending families! The aim of this partnership was to bring fun and joy to refugee and new American families attending the farmers’ market, as well as inviting other members of the community to join in on the fun while getting the chance to purchase delicious fresh vegetables grown by New Roots farmers!

The Bouncin Bins team learned about the IRC through team members’ interest in supporting refugees in the community. While researching different organizations to partner with, they came upon the IRC! “Our decision to support the IRC was motivated by the distinguished reputation in humanitarian assistance, demonstrated through their decades-long commitment to aiding refugees,” said Ryan.

To generate community support for new American farmers, the Bouncin Bins team worked with our New Roots program to identify two dates to bring inflatable games to the Sunnyvale Farmers’ Market—all free of charge to the program. The first event was a success, and many children attending the market enjoyed the inflatable entertainment! The Bouncin Bins team will be joining New Roots for a second time on October 14th to celebrate the end of our farmer’s market season!

“Giving back to the community through our business means leveraging the joy and entertainment we provide with inflatable games like bounce houses, carnival games, obstacle courses, extreme games, and slides to create memorable experiences for residents,” said Ryan. “It's about bringing smiles to children's faces, promoting active and healthy lifestyles, and enhancing community events. We believe that by offering these attractions, we not only enrich the lives of individuals but also contribute to the overall well-being and unity of the community we are privileged to serve.”

We are grateful to partner with our friends at Bouncin Bins Utah and for their generosity in making refugees welcome here in Utah! See more information on how your business might be able to partner with the IRC in Salt Lake City!
