Wendy Ross

Wendy trained as a primary teacher in South Africa and moved to London in 2001. She became an EAL teacher in 2004 and took up the role of advisory teacher for students new to the UK for the Local Authority in Luton in 2007, supporting teachers in meeting the needs of their newly arrived students. Wendy moved to North Yorkshire in 2012 and worked in various roles supporting schools with the admission and induction of children and families. Having joined the IRC in September 2022, she continues to share her expertise by creating educational resources and delivering training sessions to educators across the UK.
