The International Rescue Committee spoke with writer, Lena who's in Kyiv, Ukraine for International Women's Day.
The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) - of which the IRC is a member - has launched an urgent appeal to respond to the rising humanitarian needs. The IRC is on the ground in Poland, working with our local partners in Poland and Ukraine, to quickly mobilise resources that will provide lifesaving support to people forced to flee their homes.
