Yemen is facing the largest humanitarian crisis of our time. The International Rescue Committee provides lifesaving emergency aid, clean water, education, women’s protection and medical care to millions of people in Yemen affected by violent conflict and a growing health crisis that now includes COVID-19.
The IRC provides support to Syrian refugees struggling to get by in Lebanon and the resource-strapped Lebanese communities hosting them. We also responded to explosion in Beirut, providing support including emergency cash and psychological first aid.
The International Rescue Committee provides vital health care and protection to vulnerable Libyans, refugees and migrants who have now experienced more than 10 years of protracted crisis and recurring conflict.
Nearly 1 million Rohingya have fled violence in Myanmar's Rakhine State to Cox’s Bazar, a district in Bangladesh. The IRC is responding with health care, protection for vulnerable women and children, and emergency support for the refugees.
