International Rescue Committee matches refugees who have settled into life in the UK with newcomers who want to learn more.

Our Community Mentors receive training to share their neighbourhood navigation skills, coach others professionally, and understand all about safeguarding, boundaries and wellbeing.

Newcomers work in pairs with their Mentor to set goals and take action confidently in their new lives with practical advice and support.

Our programme is free and open to refugees, Afghan and Ukrainian arrivals who live in England, whether you want to be a mentee or trained as a Community Mentor.
