Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony-winning artist John Legend has been an advocate of the IRC and its mission for more than a decade. Over the years, John has supported the IRC in helping young refugees restarting their lives in the United States and beyond. As the superstar musician and singer-songwriter has said, “our America is big, it is free, and it is open to dreamers of all races, all countries, all religions.”

It’s wonderful that, after learning from the program and going on to become successful in their own schools, they choose to come back and give their summers to help other students through the same process. I find that inspiring.John Legend
