As the war has entered its fourteenth year, mental health conditions continue to deteriorate in refugee camps in northeast Syria.

The Toolkit aims to support, mainly, HR professionals, People & Culture professionals, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) professionals and practitioners, Senior Managers in the replication and implementation of dialogue sessions by providing resources and guidance. It was adapted with lessons learned throughout the project and enhanced with specific case studies. The Toolkit offers lessons learned from the IRC internal dialogue sessions as well as the piloted cross-company dialogue sessions in Greece, practical steps to engage employees in the company via listening sessions and interviews to collect feedback on opportunities, urgent needs and barriers to DEI within companies/organisations and, methods to implement dialogue sessions and engage the academic and research community in a DEI strategy. The toolkit was adapted with lessons learned throughout the project and enhanced with specific case studies. The Toolkit is available in English and Greek.

The DEI Training Curriculum for Public Sector Employees was designed to empower executives employed in the public bodies and to develop knowledge of diversity management practices. Based on the Baseline Assessment conducted in the first months of the PROGEDI implementation, field experience in delivering corporate DEI training sessions and available best practices and exchanges with other EU Diversity Charters, the Curriculum aims to empower participants to proactively understand and own how multi dimensional identities contribute to unique experiences of oppression or privilege between colleagues and practices to promote more inclusive workplaces. The Curriculum is available in English and Greek.

The Baseline Assessment Report aims to assess the perspectives of employees and Business Management members at Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and other organizations on the added value and the benefits of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), to understand existing Diversity Management practices better, explore priorities and plans for further Diversity Management measures and assess Human Resources (HR) departments’ needs on the topic, at a managerial and organizational level. The assessment survey targeted SMEs and non-profit organizations in Greece and a limited number of public sector agencies. The Report is available in English and Greek.

The “Unconscious Bias in Recruitment” Guide, available online and in hardcopy, was created in the framework of the project on strengthening capacity building on Diversity, Equality & Inclusion(DE&I) practices for SMEs and non-profit organisations. More specifically, the Guide was based on English references and tools and on the content of the corresponding training session, implemented by Generation 2.0 RED between December 2023 and March 2024, with main participant being Greek SMEs and nonprofit organisations. The aim is to support organisations in Greece in implementing inclusive recruitment procedures, at all phases, while having minimised the impact of unconscious bias. It includes an introduction to biases and information on how they are developed, whereas it focuses on how to recognise them, with a reference to the most prevalent types, as well as on their consequences through the different stages of the recruitment procedure.
