The International Rescue Committee has partnered with World Central Kitchen, founded by Chef José Andrés, to provide food for communities in New York City hit hard by the coronavirus. The project also provides an income for resettled refugees, who are hired to distribute free meals to vulnerable New Yorkers in a safe and socially distanced way.
Meet Dina, an IRC staff member who is supporting their efforts by making sure her neighbors in Brooklyn, including those who have lost their jobs to the pandemic, have the nourishment they need to get through this crisis.
